Inspiring young people across North Norfolk.
An award-winning Project awarded Queens Award for Voluntary Service (an MBE for a group) and Best Activity Provider 2025
By donating to The Holt Youth Project, you are supporting young people to have opportunities that empower them to reach their goals and aspirations through our various programmes and activities.
HYP prides itself on our preventative programmes, allowing young people to reach their full potential, whatever their background or needs. Our dedicated staff, committed trustees, and volunteers create a friendly and safe environment whilst delivering activities and support sessions.
Through your kindness, we can deliver from our purpose-built building:
North Norfolk Young Carers: We provide respite time for young people in a caring role within their home environment. These remarkable young people have opportunities to participate in activities they may not necessarily have because of their busy lives.
ACT (Achieving Confidence Training): Young people with emotional needs who need extra support away from mainstream school or college. The programme aims to help young people achieve their full potential, supporting them back into mainstream school, college, apprenticeships, the workplace, or to become active community members.
Reboot: Reboot provides young men experiencing feelings of isolation and emotional difficulties with a safe space to go, offering Walk and Talk sessions, 1-2-1 mentoring and the opportunity to be part of a group with other men in similar situations.
Social Hubs Hive: Our Mini, Junior hubs deliver structured, fun and exciting term-time sessions for children aged 5 to 11 yrs. Youth-led hubs (Senior Hive) include arts and crafts, cookery sessions, upcycling projects, sports and appropriate sessions for their age range.
Holiday Club: During the holidays and weekends, we deliver various exciting activities for children and young people to access. These range from residential, sports, mountain biking and bake-offs, allowing young people to participate in activities they may not otherwise have access to.
SPace a nurturing small group for those young people who struggle with anxiety and emotional issues. These sessions also deliver 1-2-1 sessions promoting nature for wellbeing, working at the young person’s pace to promote confidence, helping them to reach their full potential, with the opportunity to access our other services.
24/7 helpline providing a youth practitioner to support as a listening ear.
You can support us in making a difference in young lives by creating your fundraising page or making a small donation.
Holt Youth Project only exists because of the fantastic support from people like you.
